Vehicles Seized for TAXES OWED

Driver's License required to bid. CASH or CERTIFIED FUNDS ONLY. 10% Buyer's Premium.

Terms of Auction:

1. All bidders must register to bid, prior to the auction. A valid driver’s license is required to register.
2. Title is guaranteed on all items.
3. All bids will be based on the inspection and evaluation of the bidder.
4. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with no warranty or guarantee of condition, marketability, or value of the items sold.
5. Bidders agree to hold harmless the Auction Company, the NC Dept. or Revenue, and the Dunn-Benson Dragstrip in the event of injury, loss, theft, or death.
6. Full payment for item(s) purchased is due immediately after the auction.
7. Payment MUST BE in the form of cash or certified funds. in the event the buyer does not have cash or certified funds immediately after the auction, the following will happen:
   1. The buyer will post a NON-REFUNDABLE $500 deposit, in cash or certified funds.
   2. The buyer will be given a receipt for the deposit and an invoice for the balance.
   3. The buyer will have until the end of business on Tuesday, July 14 to pay the remaining balance in cash or certified funds.
   4. The item(s) purchased will be returned to secure storage until settlement is made. The buyer will be subject to reasonable transportation and storage expenses.
   5. Payment will be made at the storage facility of the Auction Company.
   6. In the event the buyer does not pay for the item(s) by the end of business on July 14, the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be forfeited by the buyer. The sale will be voided and the item(s) will be disposed of under the terms of the contract between the Auction Company and the NC Dept. of Revenue.
8. It is the buyer's responsibility to acquire a new title, insurance, and tags for the item(s).

SPECIAL NOTE: Everyone entering the Dunn-Benson Dragstrip will be charged admission. To receive a refund of your admission fee you must, leave within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the auction and present your bidder's card at the Auction office.

Traveling on Interstate 40 Westbound:
- Take Exit #328A off I 40 West onto I 95 South
- Take Exit #79 off I 95
- Take left over I 95 on bridge
- Take Immediate Right on Hwy 242 South
- Travel 3.5 miles to Dragstrip Rd. on Left
- Take Left on Dragstrip Rd.
- Track is .5 miles down that road on Right

Traveling on Interstate 40 Eastbound:
- Take Exit #328A off I 40 East onto I 95 South
- Take Exit #79 off I 95
- Take left over I 95 on bridge
- Take Immediate Right on Hwy 242 South
- Travel 3.5 miles to Dragstrip Rd. on Left
- Take Left on Dragstrip Rd.
- Track is .5 miles down that road on Right

Traveling on Interstate 95 Southbound:
- Take Exit #79 off I 95
- Take left over I 95 on bridge
- Take Immediate Right on Hwy 242 South
- Travel 3.5 miles to Dragstrip Rd. on Left
- Take Left on Dragstrip Rd.
- Track is .5 miles down that road on Right

Traveling on Interstate 95 Northbound:
- Take Exit #79 off I 95
- Go straight through intersection onto Hwy 242 South
- Travel 3.5 miles to Dragstrip Rd. on Left
- Take Left on Dragstrip Rd.
- Track is .5 miles down that road on Right directions to auction
